Hilzo™ UES Esophageal Stent

Features

The Hilzo™ UES (Upper-Esophageal Sphincter) Esophageal Stent system consists of a delivery system preloaded with a self-expanding esophageal metal stent. The stent is made of nitinol wire knitted in a tubular mesh configuration, making it flexible and self-expandable. Designed specifically for placements close to the UES with a 0.5 cm proximal flare.

• Proximal flare 0.5 cm in length for added room in placements close to the UES
• Distal flare 1.5 cm to prevent migration
• Silicone-covered flares designed to reduce tissue in-growth
• Body covered with PTFE
• Dual retrieval string (proximal and distal ends)
• Large distal and proximal radiopaque markers to allow fluoroscopic visibility
• 14 Fr over-the-wire delivery system
